FAQs

Counselling and psychotherapy can support anyone facing emotional, psychological, social, cultural and physical challenges.
Even small issues, if left unaddressed, can build up and affect multiple aspects of life — work, relationships, self-esteem.
Typical signs include:

  • Low energy

  • Mood swings

  • Disturbed sleep or appetite

  • Loss of motivation

  • Difficulties concentrating

These are indicators that something deeper may need attention. It’s often at this point that people seek change or support.

Research highlights how acute stress can impact long-term mental and physical health (PubMed article).

Each person’s needs are unique.

  • Relief after a few sessions – short term work is usually for 6 -10 weeks

  • Deeper support over several months

  • Ongoing maintenance work with regular reviews

  • The frequency and duration is adapted to suit your situation.
